What the clip claims
The clip presents GHK-Cu as a near-cure for aging skin, suggesting that topical application can regenerate collagen and erase signs of aging. It also hints at systemic benefits, such as improved wound healing and anti-inflammatory effects, without specifying the context (e.g., topical vs. injectable, research vs. cosmetic use).
What research actually covers
GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring tripeptide that has been investigated for its role in wound healing, tissue repair, and skin remodeling. In vitro and some animal studies show that GHK-Cu can stimulate collagen synthesis, promote angiogenesis, and modulate inflammation. However, human clinical evidence is limited. A few small studies have reported improvements in skin elasticity and appearance with topical GHK-Cu, but results are not consistent, and many are from the 1980s–2000s with small sample sizes. No large, randomized, placebo-controlled trials have confirmed that GHK-Cu can “reverse” aging.
