A Black Mom's Experience with Sunscreen
As a mother, I was eager to teach my children the importance of sun protection.
As a mother, I was eager to teach my children the importance of sun protection. However, I soon realized that my own understanding of sunscreen was incomplete.
Growing up, I was taught to use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a high SPF, but I never considered the impact of skin tone on sunscreen choice.
This realization led me to reevaluate my approach to sun protection for my own children, and I wanted to share my experience with others who may be facing similar challenges.
By sharing my story, I hope to encourage others to take a closer look at their own sunscreen habits and make informed decisions about protecting their skin.
